Having grown up in Horsham I know the town well. I have had previous jobs in Horsham, and currently work for the County Council in Horsham as an Assistant Care Manager.

I am a seasoned and energetic campaigner on animal welfare and the environment, and am able and keen to represent the people of the Horsham Constituency on issues such as the lack of affordable sustainable housing, the government’s austerity measures, and the prospect of hydraulic fracturing.

I have previously stood as a borough council candidate in Crawley, county council candidate in Surrey, and as a county council candidate in a Horsham by-election.

I believe I am the right advocate for the people of Horsham because of my political and campaigning experience, and my career as a qualified Social Worker.

As your MP I will endeavour to work for the common good of all by:

1. Defending all public services from unnecessary and arbitrary cuts.

2. Defend green spaces and the wider countryside from unnecessary development by proposing brownfield site alternatives.

3. Defend people’s right in the rented housing sector to affordable homes to a decent standard.

4. Demand public transport for all, not just for some, that is timely, clean, reliable and affordable.

5. Defend local NHS services within the context of them being part of a national service.

6. Opposing all hydraulic fracturing wherever it is proposed as being the antipathy of the kind of energy production we should be investing in – renewable energy.
