Police find cocaine in Broadwater car

POLICE found cannabis and cocaine when they pulled over a car in Broadwater and became suspicious of the youths inside.

A police spokesman said officers searched a car they had stopped in Broadwater Road at 9.30pm on Thursday, December 10, after becoming suspicious at the "demeanour" of the five youths inside.

The search revealed a cocaine, cannabis, digital scales and plastic bags.

Two youths were arrested and have since been released on police bail.
