Police assault charge
Martin Maloney, 33, of Cantelupe Road, was brought before Hastings magistrates after failing to answer bail.
He is alleged to have assaulted a police officer and caused criminal damage worth 30 to the officer's shirt and trousers on August 21.
No plea was entered.
The case was adjourned until September 12.
Maloney was granted bail on the condition he report to a police station daily.
