Plea to find furry friends

HEARTBROKEN Harley Wilson just wants his two ferrets back after thieves stole them.

Harley's grandmother, Thelma Wilson, realised the two pets Salty and Pepper had been taken from their hutch when she went out to her garden where they are kept, to feed them.

The two three-year-old ferrets, who are brothers, were put into a plastic pet carrier stored in a nearby lean-to in Mrs Wilson's back garden in Brighton Road, Lancing, and stolen.

Mrs Wilson, who is offering 100 for the return of her seven-year-old grandson's pets, said: "I fed them last Tuesday evening and when I went out on Wednesday morning to check on them, they weren't there.

"They are not worth a lot of money, but they have sentimental value. Harley is heartbroken. I think someone knew they were here and stole them. They're pets and are no good for rabbiting."
