Ellens Green and Rudgwick Gardening Association has decided to hold the event online so that hard work preparing entries for the show – which was due to take place in the Ellens Green Memorial Hall on Saturday, March 21 – is not wasted.

Richard Haigh, chairman of the club, said: “We had to cancel our usual spring show but one of our members had the idea of holding a virtual show online. We thought ‘why not?’ so our web team have been working flat out to get it ready.”

A photo is all that’s needed to enter. The entries then get displayed online with the hope of bringing colour and joy to many.

It is open for entries until Tuesday, April 14, and at any stage you can view what has already been entered and accepted.

There will be a delay (usually a few hours) before uploaded entries appear on the exhibits page.

There will be no prizes and it is being held just for fun.
