Together, let's inspire change and make a difference in our community in Eastbourne

Inspire Empathy: However, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the importance of how our support works approach their work. Supporting and caring have a very broad meaning for many organisations in the care industry. Inspire Sussex focuses on the ability of our staff to connect with people, particularly individuals who, through compassionate nature and empathy, can provide empowerment to people with learning disabilities. We look for people able to offer person centred support to our service users and ultimately enable them to live their best lives. Through active listening we strive to make every interaction meaningful, whether it's in our residential service or our bustling social hub.

On 6th April we were involved in our first community engagement event at Tesco Extra from 10am to 2pm. It was another fantastic opportunity for our service users to actively engage with the local community. Our residential services turned up in force and our services users helped in the running of the stand.

We are also back Morrisons on April 20th starting at 10am, where we'll be accompanied by our Inspire Arundel service users and staff at Morrisons Supermarket on Lottbridge Drove, Eastbourne. Get ready for our exciting Raffle with amazing prizes!

As we look ahead, we're excited to share our vision with the Eastbourne Rotary Club on April 19th, where we'll showcase the impact of Inspire Sussex and extend an invitation to join our mission as trustees.
