The best cafes in Hastings, Bexhill and Rother as voted by our readers

We recently asked our readers to vote for their favourite cafe for our Cafe of The Year 2020 competition.

Votes have been collated and counted, and it was a close race with so many quality cafes in the area, but we are now pleased to announce the results:

The winner is: Cafe 67, 67 Bohemia Road, St Leonards.

Runners up are:

Second Place: Cinnamon Cafe, 8 Sea Road, Bexhill.

Third Place: Cafe Royale, 5 Castle Street, Hastings.

And our remaining in the Top 10:

Fourth Place: Bonjour Cafe, 13 Grand Parade, St Leonards.

Fifth Place: The Old Town Tea Room, Church Street, Bexhill.

Sixth Place: Hope Farm Cafe, Hope Cottage, Hooe.

Seventh Place: Taris' Coffee Bar, Main Road, Westfield.

Eighth Place: Strive Cafe, 8 Sackville Road, Bexhill.

Ninth Place: Bonneys, 73 High Street, Battle.

Tenth Place: Alfredo & Sue’s Cafe, 51 Western Road, Bexhill

Awards will be presented in a future edition of the Observer series.
