Sussex Police issue appeal for 34 year-old wanted for failing to attend court

Eddie Murphy, 34, formerly of Middle Street, Brighton is wanted by police for failing to attend court after being charged with possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “We are searching for Eddie Murphy who is wanted for failing to attend court.

"The 34-year-old, formerly of Middle Street, Brighton, was charged with possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.

"He was due to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on April 11, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

"Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is asked to report it to Sussex Police online or on 101 and quote serial 905 of 10/04/2022.”
