People are being urged to only visit tips in East Sussex if it is ‘absolutely necessary’.

In a statement, East Sussex County Council said all its household waste and recycling sites are ‘extremely busy’.

A spokesman added: “Please only visit if it’s absolutely necessary. Thank you!”
