Across the nation, non essential shops, bars, restaurants and cafés are among the businesses forced to close from today (Thursday, November 5) until at least December 2. The lockdown restrictions are similar to those seen across the UK in March and April but schools, colleges and universities have remained open this time around. In Hastings, a number of businesses in the town centre have been closed. These pictures, taken at approximately 9.45am, show what Hastings looked like on the first morning of the new measures.
