Police have confirmed that a female was found dead today at a park near Horsham.

Sussex Police say they were called to Southwater Country Park shortly after midday today (Friday May 7) following concerns for a female at the park.
A spokesman said: “Emergency services attended and she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s officer has been informed.
“An area of woodland was temporarily closed to the public while police were in attendance, but has since reopened.”
