A Labradoodle, Chihuahua and Border Collie are among the dogs looking for homes at this Sussex animal rescue.

These adorable dogs are currently up for adoption at Raystede in Ringmer, near Lewes.

The rescue centre has a variety of dogs of different breeds, shapes and sizes up for adoption, including a Labradoodle, Chihuahua and Border Collie

Dolly is a new arrival, settling in and undergoing assessment. She is receiving vet care at the moment for a lump removal but is recovering well. She is a friendly affectionate dog, who bonds closely to her people. She is a sensitive girl but has a cheeky personality coming through! Being so small, Dolly can find some things a little worrying but she is building her confidence and is learning to feel happier and safer. She will need to be the only pet in the home, as she can be vocal towards other animals. Dolly would like an adult-only home but could possibly live with teenagers aged 16 and above. She would love access to her own secure garden where she can relax and explore. She would not cope living in a busy household or being walked in busy environment.

Ruby is a friendly, bouncy girl who is just so excited about life, Raystede has said. She will need to be the only pet in the home and could live with older teenagers. Ruby requires training in her new home and her adopters will be supported in learning skills to manage Ruby's frustrated behaviours around other dogs, as she can bark and lunge. She loves to learn and is very playful, she would love a large garden to zoom around in, and it must be secure, with high fencing, as she can easily jump 6ft . She would like a home with owners who are around often to keep her company.

He did not have the correct support, behaviourally or emotionally, during a critical time in his development, so he can be cautious of new people, lots of activity and loud noises. However, has grown in confidence and is much more willing to make friends. Koda struggles around other dogs and will vocalise this. It is likely away from kennels this will improve, however he will require some management and walks in quieter locations. He will need to be the only dog in the home at this stage. His breed type requires a high level of input to meet his needs for mental stimulation and activity levels. Koda will require a fun home in the countryside as the only pet with a secure, private garden.

Stanley is currently receiving extra behavioural training support and has been responding really well to his learning sessions. Raystede said he is a great character but he will be a continued 'project' for any new home. He will require continued management, support and positive learning experiences over the long term within a new home. He will need his own secure garden to explore and play in, especially as he is not always feeling able to go out for walks.

8. Stanley - six year old Parson Terrier

Stanley is a sensitive soul that likes his routine, however he is also a cheeky terrier! He will need to be in an adult only home as the only pet. Stanley is currently receiving extra behavioural training support and has been responding really well to his learning sessions.
