Where are the PCSOs?

I am sure there are a number employed to sort out the less serious incidents locally in the town and around.

They seem to be unseen and never in Eastbourne.

They could be used to sort out the cycling problems, and less serious unsociable incidents.

We all pay for them, so where are they?

There is a serious and dangerous problem now with cyclists racing along the promenade between the Bandstand and Holywell.

Grown men and a few women, weaving in and out of the pedestrians.

Bikes should be registered, insured and have a number plate.

They are not there to enjoy the lovely scenery and absorb the ambience as we walkers do.

They should be on the road.

There are fewer places now for quiet relaxation away from traffic.

Please leave us this space.

A cyclist was even cycling up the slope and into the Peace Garden recently!

Where are the notices forbidding this?

Come into the open, all you PCSOs.
