Well done, team

I WOULD like to say a big thank-you to the Balfour Beatty team which is building our new academy, for being so willing to get involved with our school, our community projects and fund-raising.

The team has raised an amazing £3,500 to date, with much-needed funds going to Highdown Saints Football Club under-7s and under-9s, Littlehampton Boxing Club, Elm Grove Nursery, Arun Community Church Breakfast Club and our project to build a new school in Kenya, the Woodard Langalanga Secondary School.

As a member of the Considerate Constructor scheme, the team has also been keen to support the local economy.

Balfour Beatty staff have made good use of our fabulous local bed and breakfast establishments and they are working closely with the Aldingbourne Trust to support their wood recycling enterprise, using waste from our site.

The last few months have been a great example of partnership working and we are looking forward to doing more this year as we lead up to the opening of the new school.
