Thanks for 20 years of Mountfield news
I WOULD just like to say a big thank you to Ruby Willis who has written for the Mountfield village voice for the past 20 years, and has now retired from writing the article.
I moved from Mountfield over 55 years ago to live in Battle, but I have always read with interest the Mountfield Village Voice.
Ruby has informed me of so many events in the village, some of which took place all those years ago when I lived there, in particular the Christmas party for the children in the village hall.
It was the highlight of the year in those days for us kids!
I wish Ruby all the best for the future.
