Taxi driver was true gentleman
When I was stuck in Rye, last Friday, due to adverse weather, I had waited for about 40 minutes for a nonexistent bus.
I had very little money, and a very cold greyhound dog. I approached a taxi driver to enquire of the price.
However, one of the taxi drivers, called Shaun, who lives in Northiam, very generously gave me and my dog a lift home, to my front door, without accepting a penny.
I will be eternally grateful, for his act of kindness, and say a very big thank - you to a true gentleman.
