Special evening

Despite the dreadful downpour of rain, we had a steady stream of people braving the weather and visiting our Christmas Market, which helped the NSPCC raise £353, making it a happy and successful evening.

I would also like to thank all our stallholders who have supported our monthly food and craft markets throughout the year.

With their help and loyalty we have banked more than £1,000 for the NSPCC.

We are not open in January, but reopen on Wednesday, February 1, from 9am-noon in the Conservative Hall, East Preston and thereafter on the first Wednesday of each month.

Finally, I would like to wish all our supporters and helpers a very happy Christmas and hope to see you all in the new year.
