New fast trains, upgrading of the M62, new roads, all on the agenda.

What do we have in this forgotten south east corner?

We have an antiquated railway system, collapsing embankment and a master plan to close ticket offices and fit machines – a vandal’s paradise.

I won’t mention the state of the pot holed roads!

The local people are crying out for firms to relocate to Hastings and Bexhill.

All the time we have a terrible road infrastructure I fear it will never happen.

On the plus side we have a new link road which will help in the short term, but when the new houses are built will we be back to square one?
