School’s visit from Sir Linkalot

On Monday 20th January, Farlington Prep School welcomed ‘Sir Linkalot’ aka Andy Salmon to Farlington.

The girls were treated to ‘Thinkalink’ workshops throughout the day and parents were invited to join in, too.

The workshops were fantastic and Andy showed us many interesting, fun (and funny!) ways to learn. He showed us how links can help us to learn and remember spellings, times tables, important dates and information.

Andy explained that it could be a link to a picture, a rhyme or an action that helps you to learn. The girls were delighted to be told that there are no wrong answers.

If a link works for you, then use it. If it doesn’t, find one that does! The staff, parents and girls were excited by what they heard and are enthusiastic to explore ‘links’ in the future.
