Record put straight
I WOULD like to put the record straight about Edlows closing down (Gazette, November 17).
It was with great reluctance the owners of Edlows had to cease trading.
As staff and regular customers will confirm, the owners struggled to keep the shop open, despite their continuing ill health.
They did not suddenly up and leave as your report inferred.
How do I know this? Because the owners were my brother and his lovely wife.
