Pressures on healthcare providers

I am very concerned that Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) could succumb to pressures, financial and hardsell, leading them to commission the provision of healthcare services and products by private companies.

Our NHS can be protected by adopting certain amendments to their constitutions. These amendments have been drawn up by lawyers funded by 38 Degrees, The suggested amendments allow CCGs to introduce ethical and moral considerations into their commissioning decisions, as well as purely financial ones.

If our NHS is broken up, it would be near impossible to fix.
