Petworth & Pulborough Scouts receive certificates

Mr Mike Wakeling, Deputy County Commissioner, West Sussex Scouts was pleased to present certificates to 31 recipients of Bronze, Silver and Gold Chief Scout Awards at the recent Petworth & Pulborough Scout District Reception held at Fittleworth Village Hall.

Chief Scout Awards are the highest Awards achievable in each Scout Section and only those that attend Scout Meetings regularly and complete the required number of Challenge Badges receive this Award.

The Petworth & Pulborough Scout District host three Receptions a year for the young people and their families to recognise their wonderful achievement.

Thanks to Bear Grylls, Chief Scout, who has done a great deal to promote Scouting to young people and adults alike Scouting is very popular in the District which incorporates groups at Ashington, Bury, Billingshurst, Easebourne, Fittleworth, Harting, Ifold, Petworth, Pulborough, Storrington and Wisborough Green.
