Lions soft toy presentation
On April 23rd I again deputised for Horsham Lions President Clare Wilson and attended the Horsham Ambulance Centre to present another bag of soft toys which were gratefully accepted by Sarah on behalf of the ambulance service.
When the ambulance service have to attend to a young patient it can be very traumatic for the child and the paramedics find it very helpful and soothing to be able to give the child a soft cuddly toy to make the event less stressful. The Lions have for several years been pleased to be able to provide these soft toys to the ambulance service. They are one of the many ways we help our local community and use the funds so generously given by the people of the Horsham area.
