LETTER: Sound vision of excellent strategy
I was pleased to read that, courtesy of Horsham Town and Broadbridge Heath councillors, we now have an excellent alternative to HDC’s implausible and contentious Draft Preferred Strategy for the district. It deserves our wholehearted consideration and active support.
It is a strategy which puts people and communities first, and seeks to protect and enhance the character, appeal and viability of our settlements, surrounding countryside and environment.
It has a sound vision to deliver economic benefit to the whole District including the southerly and rural areas that particularly need it, whereas the HDC version has silence apart from building a huge, white elephant ‘high quality business park’ on greenfield land north of Horsham.
