LETTER: Right to take councillor to task

Cllr Claire Vickers argues that there cannot be any Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) for North Horsham until there’s a housing plan in place.

What community benefit is Cllr Vickers talking about? There isn’t any since she and her planning officers drew up the Charging Schedule! HDC originally proposed to charge Liberty only £50 per sq m for Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and the other developers £125. But then two months after the vote in April 2014 that figure was reduced to zero! Mr Jonathan Dancer is right to take Cllr Vickers to task on this point.
