LETTER: Pride in support for athletics

With the exciting Commonwealth Games ahead Jade is confident that she can throw over 60m, which could mean that Jade would not be so far off challenging the 61.22m English record held by Shelley Newman since 2003.

Jade has made it clear how much she has depended on the indoor athletics training facilities at Broadbridge Heath – namely, The Tube - and how extremely difficult it would be for her to sustain her rigorous all-the-year-round training schedule should The Tube be demolished (which is planned) and not replaced.
