LETTER: Flights must go somewhere

What a shame the residents of Warnham are unhappy regarding the flight paths out of Gatwick. Their comments do not state how many of them use Gatwick for flying off on their holidays, perhaps none of them do.

I live in Lower Beeding and we are under the approach flight paths which ever way aircraft land at Gatwick and we just accept they have to fly over someone’s house - we don’t moan because we use the airport.

We are also on the flight path of Ministry of Defence aircraft like Chinnooks with their thumping engines and then there are other large aircraft they use they fly over us day and night but, hey, we need the army to defend us so we acknowledge they have to fly over someone’s house.
