After losing their first match to a strong St. Mary’s side, Holbrook were determined to do better in the next game which they won against Shelley. The team saved their best play for the final group match against Greenway and eventually won it by just one run.

Holbrook qualified for the semi-finals and beat Castlewood by 26 runs to set up a final match against Jolesfield. A fantastic bowling performance and sensible batting meant Holbrook won this match by 45 runs. The prize for the team is a place in the County Finals to be held at Blackstone, the Sussex CCC academy ground, on the 24th June.
