Is there a safe place for travellers?

It was reported that a group of travellers arrived at Princes Park Sunday afternoon June 14.

They were served a section 61 notice by the police and required to leave, which they did Monday evening.

It was reported that refuse was cleared, the area cleaned and a gate repaired.

Nothing was said about the people involved in the group, who with at least 60 caravans, was likely to include children.

Did they have a safe place to go in these uncertain times? Are travellers the most vilified and discriminated against ethnic minority in the UK?
