Great that so many care about Pier Road

Obviously there are very many people who really care about the area enough to write in answer to my letter, including one letter from Dr James Walsh.

Council, please take note.

We know that council matters can take a long time to process, but please take action about this suggestion sooner rather than later, and let's get Littlehampton buzzing again.

E. Benham said in his letter that this suggestion had been put forward for years without fruition.

I am sure that matters can be solved for disabled people to get access to the area without too much problem '“ it happens in other areas.

I am not a councillor and not privy to the ways of planning, etc., but your public want this now (not in 10 or 20 years' time), so that Littlehampton and its businesses can flourish.

So come on, councillors, let's see some action.
