Grandparents visit Copthorne Pre-Prep
89 grandparents joined their grandchildren in Copthorne’s Pre-Prep & Nursery for an afternoon of school tours, playdoh, painting, PE, sewing, paper aeroplane making and maths trailing before a mini concert in the Courtyard.
Head of Pre-Prep, Mrs Susie Swadling commented that ‘the grandparents were a wonderfully peaceful presence in the school. Even taking into account that there were so many people in the building with a vast array of activities underway, the atmosphere was purposeful and calm!’
The sun shone, the children smiled and sang beautifully and the grandparents were appreciative and delightful company.
The children are looking forward to more visits from their Nonnies, Gran-Grans, Poppas, Buncies, Bumpas and Grumps!
