Fishers Farm Park family day out winners

It was recently announced at the official awards ceremony, held at Brighton Racecourse on Sunday, June 30, that winner for the prestigious ‘What’s On 4 2013 Junior Awards – Best Family Day Out’ in association with Konfidence is Fishers Adventure Farm Park in Wisborough Green.

This awards programme, which is supported by ABC Magazine, is now in its 7th year and celebrates the best activities, classes, volunteers and venues from throughout the UK as nominated and voted for by the experts - parents and parents-to-be.

Fishers Adventure Farm Park from near Horsham has won The Best Family Day Out award category which means that they are officially the top in the UK as voted for by parents.

This year, the awards were bigger than ever, covering 20 different categories ranging from ‘Best Pre/Post Natal Activity’ to the ‘Most Outstanding Community Group Volunteer for children’.

Over 76,000 votes in total were cast - a massive 65% increase on previous years.

Fishers Adventure Farm Park has entered the awards for the first time this year and were so excited to be announced the Winners!

Kate Rollings, Marketing Manager from Fishers told us “it was such a fantastic group of people involved with these awards and we are absolutely honoured to have won”.

From March to May 28, 2013, parents logged onto the award winning on-line directories - www.whatson4littleones.co.uk, www.whatson4schoolkids.co.uk and www.whatson4kidsparties.co.uk - to vote for their favourite clubs, groups, classes and party entertainers from all of the nominees that qualified.

Every attraction, children’s activity, class, volunteer and party supplier in the country had the chance to be nominated, thus ensuring the awards are a true representation of the commitment of the UK’s parents and carers to recognise and reward the very best!
