To add some extra spice this year, two special beers have been brewed for the event by the North Sussex branch members, with the girls challenging the boys.

The girls chose to celebrate the arrival of Spring with a light beer, and have come up with Tempus Fugit, a classic light, hoppy beer that is currently so popular.

The boys, meanwhile, have gone darker and heavier with a warming Winter ale called Smokin’Choc Porter, infused with chilli and chocolate.

A huge thank you from the branch to all at Kissingate Brewery and King Beer for their help with the brewing.

Which beer will be more popular, and which team will ending up with the bragging rights?

Tickets are still available for the event, from Beer Essentials, the Malt Shovel and Kings Brewhouse in Horsham, or contact [email protected]
