Correct procedures?

THERE is no doubt that at the last Town Forum, having voted to adopt the New Guide to the Forum, many in the audience were left stunned to discover some had voted in a new chairman without the audience being asked in the first place for nominations for chairman with proposers and seconders!

John Black launched into his well-prepared speech and then the audience were asked if there were any other candidates!

Was there a belief, on the part of some, that the whole thing had been neatly choreographed in advance? A “case of justice being shoved by” on the part of the Democratic Services?
