Clare Davison is donating the use of Sedgwick Park House in Horsham for the event and is working alongside a group of dedicated cancer survivors, to help support the vital work being done by Macmillan.

Susan Michaelis, who took part in the previous years coffee morning fundraiser, was diagnosed with breast cancer in the summer of 2013. Now she wants to help others to overcome the illness. She said: “Cancer has effected all of our lives directly or indirectly and we urge the community to join us in the push to beat it. Too many people have their lives impacted and we all need to do more.”

Susan and Clare decided to host the coffee morning alongside Esther Clark, Louise Blair Rains and Melanie Hurley after Cancer Research revealed that 1 in 2 UK residents will develop cancer at some point in their lives.

The event will run from 9.30am until 1pm and costs a small donation of £5. The donation includes a welcoming coffee and cake with free parking and access to the ground floor of the house and open garden of Sedgwick House.
