Rather than to keep it for their birthdays they decided to use the voucher to raise money for a local charity close to their hearts.

A party was held on Saturday night (March 15) in Upper Beeding Village Hall with the Sussex based mobile party organiser Dinki Disco who were kind enough to donate the voucher in the first place.

The party was well attended by 35 of their friends who also attend UBPS, along with their parents they generously gave a very generous and much needed £275.00 for the local charity Your Space Your Time.

At the party was a close family friend 8 year old Thomas Griffiths (pictured) who regularly attends YSYT.

His parents Alec and Nicola Griffiths explained how important the charity has been to their family, providing a fun, stimulating safe environment for Thomas enabling the family to spend quality time with their other 2 children Jake and Issy doing things they otherwise would find difficult with the restrictions that Thomas’s disabilities bring, such as going to the cinema, a meal out or even a long walk.

The Party was a fantastic success with great fun had by all.
