And the winners will be revealed in a special ceremony at Butlin’s in Bognor Regis, on December 17, which all are invited to attend.

“It will be a real celebration of our local community,” Observer group editor Colin Channon said.

“In the past we have only been able to invite the nominees and their families, but this year’s event is being held somewhere new and we would like to invite as many readers to join us as possible.

“It is such an inspiring event and really highlights all of the wonderful, people and organisations there are in the Observer area.”

Fred Dinenage will again be hosting the awards ceremony which will also feature a live band performance from The Move Ons and a performance from The Theatre Workshop.

Refreshments will also be available from Centre Stage, where the ceremony is taking place.

“It really promises to be a wonderful evening of entertainment as well as an uplifting one,” said Colin. “All of our nominees are well worthy of their recognition and I really hope as many people as possible from across the community can join us for a real celebration of what makes the Observer area such a wonderful place.

“These awards, sponsored by Rolls Royce, are about the people who make the Bognor Regis, Chichester, Midhurst and Petworth areas such a wonderful place to be.
