Our monthly Village Hall Coffee Morning Market will be held today (Friday) between 10am and 12 noon. The market raises funds for the hall, so come along and enjoy good company and refreshments.

This evening, Dance Club are in the Village Hall for sequence dancing, starting at 7.30pm. In the Pretious Sports Hall, Badminton clubs meet at 5.30pm (Primary) 6.30pm (Secondary), and 8pm (Adults).

The Conservative Association will be holding their AGM in the Jenkins Room at 10.30am on Saturday.

The Rye and District Association of the National Trust will be holding a ‘Meet and Greet’ event for members and friends. This will be held at the Rye Town Hall, by kind permission of the Mayor, Councillor Shaun Rogers, from 12.00 until 2.00 pm on Saturday 23rd February.

Various displays will show the group’s activities through the year and there will be refreshments and a tombola stall. This will be an open event so that anyone interested in finding out more about what we do to support the National Trust properties in our area, as well as the various activities arranged for the enjoyment of our members, will be very welcome to attend. The Footpath Group leaves the surgery car park at 1pm on Sunday heading to St Nicholas Church in Sandhurst to start a 5 mile walk: Sandhurst Scenes. Everyone is very welcome to join these walks – just meet at the appointed hour!

On Monday, the Creative Writing class meets in the Jenkins Room at10.30am, then Bridge Club at 2pm in the Jenkins Room alongside Short Mat Bowls in the main Village Hall. Badminton and Zumba are held in the Pretious Sports Hall at 5.45pm and 8.15pm respectively, and Classical Pilates in the Village Hall at 6.30pm.

Tuesday night is Pie Night at The Muddy Duck - £6.95, you may prefer to join the Historical and Literary Society as they welcome Tony Singleton, speaking on The cloth industry in the Weald of Kent.

Pilates classes are held at 9am and 10am in the Village Hall each Wednesday, and Coffee Stop brews up in the Church Centre between 10am and 12 noon, and all are welcome to pop in. Karate Club meets in the Village Hall each Wednesday from 7pm.
