Normandy veterans
East Sussex Normandy veterans attended the Remembrance carvery at the Royal British Legion in Little Common.
Member Eric Levy commented: "The carvery is always well attended. It was not specially for us but there were 16 to18 of us down there.
"We meet up once a month anyway, over at the old naval comrades club in Beach Road in Eastbourne. We have been doing that for sixteen years - all veterans who have been to Normandy during the war. We keep in touch - and we shall keep in touch for as long as we can."
