CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Our PCSO, Daryl Holter, has advised of a report of criminal damage in Ninfield. Sussex Police received a report on 22/12/14 that a car parked in The Green area / Church Lane area of Ninfield was damaged overnight December 21-22, the vehicle was scratched on many of its body panels. Reference 0555 22/12/14 refers. Should anyone have seen or heard anything in connection with this please can they contact Police, quoting the above reference.

Housing: There will be a meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015 of the NAG (Ninfield Action Group) at Woodside Cottage, Manchester Road. The group will hear from the Parish Council as to when the Wealden Planning meeting to consider the Outline Application for Ingrams Farm will be held. “We’d like to thank all our supporters and wish them a Happy New Year, especially those 100 or more who took the trouble to register their objections in the short time allotted. If we succeed in having this refused, then it will make other developers of potential sites in Ninfield think again.

U18’S FOOTBALL: December 17 saw the U18’s football team have their Christmas Party at the Working Mens Club, where they were unexpectedly presented with a cheque for £220 by the WMC Committee. It was totally unexpected and most gratefully received and will no doubt go towards tracksuits to match the kit sponsored by Chris at the Village Store. Ninfield U18s are next away to TW Ridgewaye on January 4. They then have a run of 3 home matches on January 11, 18 and 25 all at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings on Ninfield Rec. They would love to see some new supporters.
