New pastor to lead town's Elim Fellowship

A new pastor has taken charge of a Bognor Regis church.

Eric Heylen is leading the several dozen members of the Elim Fellowship. Their worship service is at 10.30am every Sunday at the Laburnum Centre in Lyon Street. Children's ministry is available.

Mr Heylen (38), his wife Emma (34) and their children Jesse (11) and Shana (8) are moving to the town from their current home in Rustington.

Mr Heylen is Belgian but lived most of his life in South Africa where he met Welsh-born Emma.

He was a electrical mechanical technician who was called into the pastoral ministry in 2000.

"We immigrated to the UK in 2004 and became part of the Elim movement.

"It is our pleasure to come and serve Bognor in a ministerial capacity and trust that we will be a blessing," he stated.
