Eight people enjoyed a nice lunch at Leeford Place Hotel on Monday 4th February with Mountfield Lunch Club. Their waitress was Charlie who looked after them all well Ruby reports. A good time was had by all.

Wayne has reported that the A team played against Crowhurst Park last week and won 4 - 3 against a team that are challenging for the league (they were understrength.) The winners were Danny O’Connor, Ian Hardy and Kim Hardy. Sally Hayler and Kim Hardy won the Ladies Pairs. Alan Crouch, June Crouch, Barry Reader and Wayne Hardy won the Push Penny 4 - 1. The A team play away at Robertsbridge Club this week and the B team don’t have a game.

On Monday evenings Mountfield Village Hall is the venue for Charleston Jive Squad. 7 - 7.45 is for Lindy Hop beginners. Improvers Lindy Hop 8 - 8.45 and then between 9 and 10 there is practice and strolls. ( If you cut this write up out, take it along and hand it in you can have your first class free of charge. ) Normally the cost is £5 for the whole evening with free tea, coffee and cake.
