Firstly, some results from Wayne; This week the A team played the Kings Head (Ore) in the semi final of the Push penny team KO, first to play were Barry Reader and June Crouch who managed to win 2-1 in a hard fought game. Next up were Alan Crouch and Wayne Hardy who won 2-0 to take the Club through to the final at a later date.

The B team played their final league game at home to Crowhurst and in the darts they lost 5 - 2 with the winners being Bob Lovick and Luke Hardy, in the push penny they won 3 - 2 with the winners being Julian Chandler, Archie Pelling and Carole Brown. Next week the A team are playing in the darts team KO at Robertsbridge Club against The Millers Arms.

Now Steve Smith’s results; Mountfield travelled to bottom of the table Cramp,and suffered their 3rd consecutive 3-2 defeat. Sean Spillett and Kevin Gray surprisingly lost the first two frames and when Andy Saunders lost the 3rd the match was effectively over at 0-3.Alex Gray in the 4th frame,and Steve Smith with the help of an 18 break in the 5th frame restored some pride to the visitors by the last 2 frames. Mountfield are now 6 points of top spot with 2 home games next week to come.

A reminder that the Mountfield Horticultural Society Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 5th March at 7.30pm in Mountfield village hall.
