Missing Spikey is safe and well

His owner, who recently moved home into Ashcombe Drive, told how he had been spotted nearby.

She said: “I would like to thank all the people who so kindly took the trouble to contact me in an effort to find Spikey.

“Also, thank you so much for the help from the staff at the Observer.

“It was through printing his photo in last week’s paper that Spikey was found in a garden in Hawkhurst Way.

“He is now safely back home.”
