Missing 12-year-old boy could be in Camber

Police are concerned about the welfare of missing 12-year-old boy from East Sussex who failed to return home on Sunday evening (31 July)

Terry Bailey, known as Cash, was last seen walking away from his address in Sorrel Drive, Eastbourne, at around 8.30pm.

He later texted to say he was fine and intended to camp out in a friend’s garden, but has not been seen or heard from since.

He is described as white, 4’11”, of heavy build, with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a short-sleeve, multi-coloured tee-shirt and black jogging bottoms.

He may be with family members and has links to the Eastbourne, Camber and Portsmouth areas

Missing persons co-ordinator Lynda Lynch said: “We’re concerned because of Cash’s age that he’s not returned and we’d like to know where he is just to be sure that he’s okay.”
