Mannings Heath businessman appointed new chairman of charity

A Mannings Heath businessman has been appointed as the new chairman of The Licensed Trade Charity, the organisation that manages LVS Hassocks, a West Sussex school for youngsters diagnosed with autism.

Roy Boulter has taken over the role as the previous chairman Annette King prepares to step down after four years at the charity.

Roy has been a committed and dedicated supporter of the work of the charity, and was appointed Trustee of the Licensed Trade Charity in 2010.

He said: “It’s a great honour to have been asked to become chairman, and I will be using my new position to bring greater understanding of the charity, its schools, and how it operates to produce advocates and patrons of our range of activities and services.”

Chief executive of the charity James Brewster said:“Roy’s wealth of experience and long-term dedication to the charity and trade makes him ideal as the next chairman of the Licensed Trade Charity.”
