Man punched and stamped on

TEENAGERS punched a man in his late 50s to the ground then "repeatedly" stamped on him.

The victim suffered a dislocated shoulder and heavy bruising in the Sidley attack and required hospital treatment.

PC Geoff Fox of the Bexhill Neighbourhood Policing Unit is investigating the assault.

He described the attack as "nasty."

PC Fox said: "It happened outside a block of flats in Calgary Road at around 10 pm on Wednesday August 3, where an argument took place between the man and two male teenage youths, who were accompanied by one teenage girl.

"The argument escalated, resulting in the man being punched to the ground then repeatedly stamped on, causing him heavy bruising and a dislocated shoulder, for which he received hospital treatment."

He is appealing for anyone who saw the attack of who has information to contact him at Bexhill police station on 0845 6070999, quoting serial 2023 of August 3.
