Man faces murder-bid charge after woman stabbed
A BOGNOR Regis man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder over the stabbing of a woman in a Littlehampton supermarket.
Samuel Reid-Wentworth (21), of Longford Road, was charged after Lucy Yates (20) from Littlehampton was attacked in Somerfield in Anchor Springs on Tuesday afternoon.
Reid-Wentworth was remanded in custody by Worthing magistrates on Thursday to reappear at Lewes Crown Court on September 29.
Ms Yates is said to be in a serious but stable condition in Worthing Hospital.
