The shortlisted tale by Lucy is an amusing story about a monkey who likes karate and eating jam sandwiches.

However, Lucy faces some stiff competition from the other two finalists in her age group who are all competing for a fantastic prize.

The winning entry will see their story turned into a short animation, meet well-known children’s author Michael Rosen and get to go behind the scenes at the ITV studios.

Lucy is nervous but excited to have made the final three. The winner of which will be announced on the CITV website on Monday 20 June.

To vote for Lucy’s story The Monkey Who Likes Jam On Toast and Karate go to www.itv.com/shareastory but be quick, the closing date is Friday 17 June.
