Lions happy to help Northiam Nursery

Nursery manager Jill Brain approached the Lions to see if they could help and they were pleased to donate £200 to enable the nursery to buy a new sand-pit.

Although only having opened recently, the nursery is already providing care for several toddlers from Northiam and villages nearby.

However, Jill Brain has some vacancies for more children under school age and they are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.

Rye and District Lions Club are a group of men and women from Rye and nearby villages who have fun whilst raising money for those less fortunate and also enjoy a social event each month.
